Math Stars Book-3

he Math Stars Primary intend to instill in students a love for learning Mathematics and encouraging them all to become Math Superstars. The lessons are presented in a way such that the learners are able to make sense of problems and persevere in solving them. At every level, the topics comprise the 4 strands which are underpinned by reasoning and logical thinking and supported by enough practice exercises. These strands include Number and Operations, Algebra, Geometry and Measurement, and Data Handling.

Math Stars 1 is suitable for ages 6-plus. The book is divided into 6 components which are Shapes, Arithmetic, Factual Text, Space Orientation, Numbers up to 100, and Time and Measurement. In this book, the children will be able to learn about shapes and also differentiate between shapes. Students will be taught to calculate using “The Hundred Board”. This book will also provide students with opportunities to apply their knowledge with activities and exercises.
